LAPO has spent decades helping Nigerians rise above poverty, yet its digital presence failed to reflect the depth of its impact. The existing website didn’t tell the story, didn’t show the scale, and didn’t inspire confidence or pride in the work being done.
Method
We approached the website as more than a redesign, it was a reintroduction.
We restructured the content, clarified the narrative, and built a modern digital home that showcased LAPO’s work across microfinance, community development, healthcare, and education. A donation framework, clear information architecture, and interactive sections were integrated to support engagement and participation.
Metaphors
We framed LAPO as a home for progress: a place where people come to grow, collaborate, and move forward together. The story celebrated collective effort: joint savings, shared ambition, community-powered wealth creation, and social upliftment. Progress wasn’t presented as charity, but as empowerment. The metaphor was simple: your money doesn’t just sit, it works alongside others, supporting real businesses and real people, and returning value back to you.
Impact
LAPO emerged with a website that finally reflects its legacy and ambition. A confident, modern platform that highlights real impact, invites participation, and positions the organisation as a vibrant force for social and economic transformation in Nigeria and beyond.
