Building Method & Metaphors: A Blank Canvas
Method & Metaphors didn’t start with a dramatic pivot or a sudden lightning-bolt idea. It began with a slow, steady truth I could no longer ignore: creativity needed a new place to live, a temple built deliberately, not reactively.
After nearly two decades inside the engine rooms of advertising, brand strategy, and creative problem-solving, I’d seen the same pattern repeat itself.
Brilliant ideas suffocated by process. Insights reduced to deck-filling jargons. Strategy used as a shield to justify mediocre ideas instead of a compass in search of meaning. Creativity treated as garnish instead of substance that delivers result.
Over time, that tension became impossible to unsee.
SentientXT was my first attempt at correcting that imbalance, and it worked. It was bold, it was human, and it proved that creativity done with feeling at the core still has the power to shift behavior, not just metrics. But success has a way of revealing the next frontier. And eventually, it became clear that something sharper needed to emerge. Not a continuation, an evolution. In equal fashion, life painted the path forward.

So I began again. Quietly. From scratch.
Method & Metaphors was built with one guiding belief: creativity must lead the business, not serve it. Not as a slogan. Not as a differentiator. As the operating system.
The early days were exactly what they needed to be: rough, unglamorous, focused, and honest.
I was sketching frameworks at 2am, pitching at 10.00 am, rewriting briefs until they felt inevitable, and refining a philosophy that demanded more of me than any job title ever had. Brick by brick, the company took shape around a single, unwavering ethos: purpose gives direction, creativity creates momentum, and together they drive transformation or die trying!

From there, the work followed. Then the clients who valued depth over noise. Then the team started forming: thinkers, makers, and strategists who weren’t interested in recycling what the industry already knows.
Made in Lagos, shared with the world.
What we’re building at Method & Metaphors isn’t an agency model with new packaging. It’s a commitment to a way of thinking where strategy and storytelling meets at the beginning, not fight for prominence at the end.
Where originality creates better outcomes than category conformity. Where brands deserve work that makes people feel before it makes them convert. Where creativity, when done with purpose, becomes a business advantage, not a line item in your annual cost sheet.
Starting from scratch wasn’t a setback. It was a recalibration. It’s allowed me to build the kind of company I once wished existed, where ideas aren’t constrained by fear, where craft matters, and where the goal isn’t incremental improvement but meaningful change.
Method & Metaphors is that choice made real. Built intentionally. Built from experience. Built to push creativity back into the driver’s seat, where it belongs.
We’re here for brands ready to think deeper, act braver, and create work that resonates long after the campaign calendar ends.
If that’s the journey you want to take, our door is open.
